The Saskatchewan Transportation Company is a Crown Corporation of the province of Saskatchewan. It was established by Government Order In Council in 1946. Its operations are governed by its Board of Directors, under the authority of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993. STC is a provincial coach company which provides safe, affordable and accessible bus passenger and freight service to Saskatchewan communities. STC is the primary mover of people and freight in the Province of Saskatchewan. It provides transportation of people and goods which is safe, reliable and affordable. It protects the investment made by the people of Saskatchewan by providing the level of service required in the province's rural communities, while doing so on the most cost-effective basis. STC operates in an environmentally-friendly basis and promotes diversity in both its own workforce and the Saskatchewan economy.
