Enterprise Saskatchewan (ES) is the focal point for establishing broad partnerships involving all levels of government, industry, labour, Aboriginal people, post secondary institutions, and other stakeholders dedicated to the goal of sustained economic growth.  ES and the collective partnerships advances provincial economic development goals, strategies, and clear measurable targets for economic performance.  In collaboration with industry and other partners, and with support from Executive Council, ministries, agencies, and Crown corporations, action is taken to achieve the economic performance targets, encourage economic growth, and enhance the competitive position of our province. 

ES hosts many programs and services available for use by the business community.  We are continually improving on our current programs and services and adding new programs to encourage more development in Saskatchewan.

"Enterprise Saskatchewan will be organized and based on the key sectors of our economy.  Its job, through sector participants, will be to identify, develop, and monitor competitive advantages and disadvantages in each sector and prescribe action.  Reports will be public, and will add to the accountability of this and future governments when it comes to our stated objectives of being among the most competitive business climates in the country.   In short, its role is to continually push the competitive envelope."

About the Directory

Companies which are majority owned or operated by Aboriginal people are a growing part of Saskatchewan's economy. The Saskatchewan Government, including its crown corporations recognizes the importance of doing business with Aboriginal suppliers and want to increase their annual purchasing of goods and services from them. This website is designed to assist in this process and will create a business-to-business marketplace where buyers (Government, Crowns, Private Sector) and sellers (Aboriginal suppliers) meet in order to develop positive business relationships based on trust, respect and integrity.

Mission
The mission of the Aboriginal Business Directory is to assist in the greater participation of Aboriginal firms within the growing Saskatchewan Economy.
